Safeguarding Awareness Training
This session is for volunteers and staff that work at food hubs who works or comes into contact with adults at risk and has previously not attended any basic awareness safeguarding courses.
Aim: To increase knowledge about safeguarding adults and how to identify and report abuse
Learning Objectives:
• Define and recognise signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect
• Identify which groups of people come under the term adults with care and support needs in adult social care and may be vulnerable to abuse
• Be able to recognise potential indicators of abuse
