Mapping Minds and Machines: The Human Challenges of AI Implementation

Thu 18 Apr 2024 17:00 - 19:00 Everyman Cinema Broadgate, EC2M 2PF

As AI sweeps through our workspaces, where does that leave us flesh-and-blood folks clocking in each day?

Vorboss proudly presents our latest Better Connections, bringing together esteemed Business Psychologist Dr Simon Moore and Vorboss CEO and Founder Tim Creswick to discuss a crucial but often overlooked aspect of AI and technology implementation in business —the human element.

Join your leadership peers to discover how neuropsychology shapes technological processes and workplace engagement levels, and if the robots really are coming for your job.

Discussion points include:

Robots vs humans: how do emerging technologies, such as augmented reality, natural language processing, and autonomous systems, impact workforce engagement?

The human touch in the digital age: how important is the power of human judgement, creativity, and emotional intelligence in completing AI capabilities?

Embracing change: Human reactions to technological advancements and change - why we’re all scared sh*tless!

We've designed the event to be perfect for busy, time-poor leaders. Arrive at 17:00 for drinks and networking in the bar before bringing a drink with you into the wonderful, intimate theatre for a 17:30 start. We'll be done by 18:15 if you need to get home, but feel free to stay for drinks and snacks in the bar to chat and network with Simon and Tim.

Timings:
17:00 - 17:30 – Guest Arrival and Welcome Reception in Everyman Foyer

17:30 - 18:15 – Fireside Chat with Dr Simon Moore in Cinema Room One
