In collaboration with Lief Bound & Grey, VoxBody is excited to announce T4T Rope Jam, a trans*-exclusive rope event to build community and do a little rope while we’re at it.

Join Lief and Grey on second Mondays into 2025!

T4T is a rope jam with a skill share at the start of the event. All levels are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Please note that while we love and appreciate our allies, this is a trans*-exclusive event.
“Trans* is an umbrella term that refers to a bunch of the identities within the gender identity spectrum. In writing, using an asterisk at the end of ‘trans’ is a way to use one shorthand expression to refer to a variety of identities that are incredibly diverse, but share one simple, common denominator: a trans* person is not a cisgender man or woman.” -Sam Killermann

Rope jams are a great event to:

• get inspired by people practicing rope at all levels and witness a diversity of style and approach
• practice the technique you have been learning in a class
• meet people in the rope community
• be a part of a sex and body positive, welcoming atmosphere!

** Loaner rope for this event is available! (This rope is suitable for floor ties but not suspension). 

General schedule for T4T:

7-7:30pm -  doors open, welcome/mingle

7:30-8pm - skill share led by Lief (or other guest presenters tba)

8:30pm - doors closed, no late arrivals after this time

8-10pm - open jam

10pm - event ends

About the hosts:

Lief Bound (he/they) is a full time internationally renowned rope artist and educator based in San Francisco, California. They have been obsessed with rope even before getting the chance to pick it up and now they can’t put it down. They got their start in the Boston scene attending rope cons such as Bound in Boston and FIRE. Since moving to the west coast, they have grown to become a part of the local community teaching classes, private lessons, and creating queer kink art. They’ve taught for Tethered Together, Dark Odyssey, Rope Craft, and Shibari Study. Lief is excited to share their passion with you.

Grey (he/they) is your friendly neighborhood genderfluid Dad. He has been bottoming in rope since 2015, and will switch for a select few. He has performed at Twisted Windows and Leather Alley, and lives in the ceiling of VoxBody Studio. Grey believes rope and kink can be a portal into oneself, and also a lens to explore other facets of one’s life. He encourages you to vet your tying partners, and to spend more time tying on the floor.
