Lief and Icky are back again for their 101 Rope Class! We know a lot of you are looking to attend beginner classes and this is an incredible opportunity for your first steps into rope bondage!

So, you’ve never touched rope or you’ve only learned online and you're looking to get your first hands on instruction? Lief and Icky know that rope can be an overwhelming endeavor to pursue and are here to make it fun and accessible. 

Whether your goal is advanced suspension or date night rope fun, this beginners class is for you!

This class will introduce you to the basic materials you need for a successful rope scene and help you to build your risk profile. Lief & Icky will show you basic rope handling and technique that is foundational to all good rope bondage. You will walk away from the class knowing a few knots, some tips and tricks, and a whole lot of inspiration for the start of your rope journey!

Prerequisite: None

Materials needed: 4 hanks of Rope and EMT shears. If you do not have these, there will be loaner rope and extra shears available.

About the presenters:

Lief Bound (He/They) and Icky (He/They) are queer and trans rope educators and performance artists currently residing in San Francisco, California. Lief Bound is a rope switch who found their love of rope ten years ago and believes that rope can be the most honest way that we can connect with each other. Icky is a switchy pain enthusiast who started their rope bottoming exploration ten years ago and is most passionate about exploring intersectionality and positionality in consent. Their teaching styles bring the best of both worlds combining crucial perspectives of the top and the bottom. They value consent and safety in every topic they teach, bringing an inclusive and trauma-informed approach to learning rope bondage. Lief and Icky are most passionate about using multimedia process art to share their vision with the world and push the boundaries of what defines rope.
