We are happy to welcome Mosaic Cat (Shanghai) for this class focusing on minimalist predicament-style floor work!
A class using only one or two ropes to create secure, psychologically engaging, and highly adaptable restraint structures.
Attendees will learn many immediately usable ideas that they can take home and apply right away, without requiring advanced suspension knowledge or specialized equipment.
The workshop explores how simple rope systems can generate surprisingly rich experiences through tension, restriction, choice, and body positioning. Rather than focusing on complex technical ties, the class emphasizes creative problem-solving, connection, and scene-building with minimal equipment.
Participants will learn a collection of predicament-inspired floor structures that can be used in bedroom play, non-suspension environments, rope jams, and intimate partner exploration.
Some practical details:
• Floor tying only (no suspension points needed)
• No bamboo or specialty equipment needed
• Loaner rope is available for attendees to use during class
• Students should have basic rope handling skills and familiarity with column ties and lock-offs
• Suitable for newer rope practitioners while still offering creative ideas for more experienced attendees
* If finances are a barrier for your attendance, please email us at voxbody@gmail.com; we hold scholarship spots for most all of our events!
