Calling all sketch artists (or curious non-drawing observers!) for our beloved VoxBody Vignette Rope & Life Drawing events!
On March 21 we welcome two wonderful VoxBody-regulars! Orbit and Moxie will be using rope to emphasize their love of curves by embracing the limitations of the body and playing to their strengths. There will be a combination of shorter and longer poses exploring contrasts in restriction and vulnerability.
Bring some wine to sip on and your art supplies!
Not a sketch artist but curious to come and observe? You are welcome, please register with a ticket to reserve your spot!
Doors open 7pm.
First vignette 7:15-8:15pm.
Second vignette 8:35-9:35pm.
COVID policy (Please take time to read through all policies and etiquette before attending an event at VoxBody!)
About the model & rigger:
Orbit has been climbing down the rope rabbit hole since 2017 as a self-tyer, bottom, and most recently getting into the tying side. She loves rope for connection, community, and creativity. She has been patiently waiting to model for vignette since the before-times, so this is a big milestone!

Moxie has been rope bottoming since 2015, and started tying a few years into her rope journey. She’s passionate about restraint, aesthetics, body awareness, and rope that makes her feel distressed. She enjoys exploring ties that can be challenging and awkward, as well as repeating familiar shapes in ties that bring new knowledge and experience over time. Moxie has performed at events such as Twisted Windows, Folsom Street Fair, and Nuit des Cordes, attended NARIX 2016, and has bottomed for Kazami Ranki. She practices aerial and flexibility outside of rope to stay connected with her body and gain understanding of how our bodies communicate to us.
