What would you believe if the world you knew was gone?

In After the End, Dennis Kelly delivers a gripping, unsettling exploration of truth, control, and human connection at its most fragile. When Louise wakes to find herself locked in a bunker with a man who claims to have saved her from a catastrophic attack, reality begins to fracture—and trust becomes a dangerous game.

Performed by the Wac Arts Actors Company, this intense two-hander, performed by the whole company, will keep you questioning everything until the very end. Raw, thought-provoking, and disturbingly relevant, After the End is a psychological thriller you won’t want to miss.

How far would you go to survive… and who would you believe?

The Wac Arts Actors’ Company is an intensive, year-long training programme designed for emerging performers who are passionate about developing their craft in a supportive and dynamic environment. The Company provides a comprehensive foundation in key performance skills, including ensemble work, team building, sight reading, and script analysis – all essential tools for any aspiring actor.
Led by experienced theatre director Katie Coull, the programme takes participants on a deep dive into a variety of performance styles and acting techniques. Under her guidance, members of the company will engage in regular workshops and rehearsals that foster creativity, discipline, and collaboration. Emphasis is placed on authentic character development, encouraging actors to explore emotional truth, physicality, voice work, and improvisation to create believable and compelling performances.
Throughout the year, the Company will explore a range of theatrical themes, drawing on both classic and contemporary texts, as well as devising original material. Actors will be challenged to push their boundaries, work collaboratively, and reflect critically on their own artistic growth.
The programme culminates in a final performance, offering Company members the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a live audience. This final production is not only a celebration of their progress, but also a valuable stepping stone toward a career in the performing arts, providing participants with real-world performance experience and industry exposure.
Whether you are preparing for drama school auditions, seeking professional development, or simply looking to grow as an actor, the Wac Arts Actors’ Company is a transformative experience that equips you with the tools, confidence, and connections to take the next step in your creative journey.
