MAJLES

Majles is a place of gathering. Of deliberating and conversing, debating and dancing. Rooted in Iranian hospitality, it has the feeling of a living room: informal, intimate and full of possibility. A place of togethership, where food and music are shared, pregnant with unexpected encounters and stimulating connections. A place of congregating, harmony and discord.

Majles is an invitation to voyaging together.

A happening for the curious and those craving community. Talk with old friends. Meet someone new. There is space for conversation, laughter and dancing or simply the pleasure of sharing a room and a table with people you might not otherwise meet.

No two Majles gatherings will be quite the same. The people in the room make the evening what it is.

Majles is hosted by a collective of artists, musicians and designers, led by local artists Babak Mirsalari and NiktaMohammadi. The house band features synthesiser, keys, Oud and flute, playing original compositions alongside folk songs from Iran.
