Originally created as a live show to shine some light on the under-rated amazing local talent this project took a left turn for the better when Theatre Wakefield assisted us in getting funding through Canada Heritage.  Hence we have a full length album spotlighting Wakefield's many gifted songwriting musicians as they cover each other’s finest songs in a fun and collaborative fashion. The WDW concept has been amped up to include the album, music videos and biographical material on the artists tied together with tasty local footage and all featured in a film documenting the whole wonderful, inclusive, community journey. The albums release on May 19 will be celebrated on June 19^th in Wakefield with a big ole live show at the picturesque Fairbairn House outdoor stage.
