Wales West Light Railway is a popular RV resort, campground and railroad theme park located in Silverhill, Alabama.

The park's name (and inspiration) derives from the narrow gauge railways that still serve remote areas of Wales in Great Britain. On those "light railways", the locomotives and cars are smaller and run on a "narrow gauge" — the distance between the tracks is 2 feet instead of 4 ft. 8½ inches for a standard railroad.

Wales West Light Railway operates several different trains consisting of both narrow gauge trains (2' between the tracks) and grand scale trains (7.5" between tracks). Perfect for "kids" of all ages! 

Trains pull out of the station just about every day. We offer three seasonal events every year: The Cottontail Express, The Pumpkin Patch Express, and The Arctic Express. During the summer we offer our Summer Fun Adventure passes that include train rides and swimming!
