Walhampton Triathlon 2026

We are delighted to be hosting the third Walhampton Children's Triathlon on Saturday 19 September 2026.
We are inviting children in Years 2-8 to come and have fun swimming, biking and running around the beautiful Walhampton grounds with their friends. This year we are holding both an individual triathlon for those looking for a timed challenge and a fun team triathlon with three options for distances. The team event is completed in teams of four as a relay.

Non-Walhampton participants are warmly invited to enter - please complete this additional form with medical information.

The event will be raising money for the Walhampton School Foundation Trust.

Further details on the Event

For the team event each participant does each element of the triathlon as a relay. If you have a participant who, for example would prefer not to swim, another team mate can do that element twice.

Distances for the Individual Event  (Year 5+): Swim 8 lengths, bike 2km, run 1.4km.
Distances for the Team Mini Course (Year 2/3): Swim 1 length, bike 500m, run 400m.
Distances for the Team Short Course (Year 3+): Swim 2 lengths, bike 1km, run 700m.
Distances for the Team Long Course (Year 5+) : Swim 4 lengths, bike 1.5km, run 1km.

Entry cost £25 per pupil (which includes an event t-shirt) is to be paid in advance using this ticket website. Please note that after the cutoff date of 11th September, cancellations will no longer be possible as costs will have been incurred.

The entry fee supports the Walhampton School Foundation Trust and therefore no pressure to fundraise further, but we have set up a Just Giving page for anyone who would like to seek further sponsorship: Just Giving Page

Each child requires a responsible adult on site during the triathlon, this is not a drop off event.
