Walhampton Family Summer Swimming & Tennis Memberships

Dear Walhampton Families,

We are delighted to offer school families the opportunity to enjoy both our swimming pool and tennis courts throughout the summer holidays through our new family membership programme. These sessions are designed to provide a fun, active, and relaxed way for families to stay healthy, spend time together, and make the most of the school’s excellent sporting facilities during the break. With structured booking systems, supervised swim sessions, and dedicated court times available across the week, families will be able to enjoy safe and well-organised access all summer long.

Family memberships will provide unlimited access to book sessions across the holiday period, with swimming memberships priced at £100 per family and tennis memberships at £75 per family. Combo memberships are also available for £160. Spaces for sessions will be released two weeks in advance, allowing families flexibility when planning their summer activities. We hope these opportunities will encourage physical activity, build confidence in sport and swimming, and further strengthen our school community over the summer months.

Swimming sessions will run weekly:

• Mondays, 15:00–19:00
• Fridays, 09:00–13:00
• Sundays, 10:00–14:00
• Family Free Swim sessions will last approximately 80 minutes
• Adults-only Lane Swim session will last approximately 50 minutes
• Safety Protocols:
  • Ages 5 and under must have an adult present in the water
  • Ages 6 -10 are recommended to have an adult in the pool if they are beginners
  • At the discretion of the lifeguard on duty, if your child is not deemed strong enough to be on their own, you may be asked to enter the water

Tennis court access will run weekly:

• Mondays, 13:00–19:00
• Tuesdays, 09:00–14:00
• Wednesdays, 13:00–19:00
• Sundays, 10:00–19:00
• Tennis sessions will last up to 90 minutes

Other points to note:

• No food or drink will be permitted in either space apart from water.
• Tennis memberships require the user to provide their own rackets and balls.
• Once your membership has been paid, you will receive a link to add your name to the sign-up list.
• For full transparency: all attendees names must be added to the registers and will be visible to other members.
