Thu 22 May 2025 8:00 PM - Mon 26 May 2025 5:30 PM
Drumnadrochit, IV63 6UW
Description
Wander Wild Scotland have joined forces with Love Her Wild, a not for profit women's adventure community to offer this exclusive wild camping adventure.
Join us for a backpacking adventure through Glen Affric, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We will follow in the footsteps of the cattle drovers of the past, traversing through glens and mountain passes, with the mountains towering above us, and passing the most remote youth hostel in Scotland. This adventure is ideal if you want to experience a long distance trail and vast remoteness with a leader to guide you every step of the way.
We'll meet in Drumnadrochit* in the evening for a kit check, and to get to know each other, then begin our journey into the mountains and glens the next morning. We will walk at a gentle pace, getting used to the weight of the pack on our backs, looking around us, seeing the geology, plant life, history and hopefully see some wildlife along the way.
Accommodation will be a mix of campsites and wild camping. A kit list will be sent to you after booking. Some spare kit is available if you need to borrow kit, please let me know if you require kit after you get your booking confirmation.
