TA Showcase – Our First Ever Support Staff Showcase!

Join us for our very first showcase event designed exclusively for teaching assistants and support staff.

This practical and inspiring morning at Chesterton Primary School will highlight the crucial role support staff play in the success of early reading provision. You will have the opportunity to observe live Reception and Year 1 phonics lessons, seeing how teaching assistants provide effective scaffolding and support for children who need extra help to succeed.

You will also see teaching assistants leading Reading Practice Sessions and delivering Keep-up interventions, offering valuable insights into how support staff can make a significant impact on pupils' reading progress.

Alongside the classroom visits, there will be CPD focused on making effective adaptations to phonics teaching so that barriers are removed for children with additional needs and all pupils can access learning successfully.
