Child-Led Booktalk

What will it involve? 

A series of 4 virtual sessions over the Autumn term, exploring 9 Practical strategies to boost early language. Child-led book talk can have a huge impact on early language development as well as beginning a lifetime love of reading. Learn how to use books to support your most vulnerable pupils to learn and love words. We will unpick what high quality book talk looks like with 3-5 year olds and coach you to feel confident using a range of proven strategies for promoting talk.
