Zine Social: Cut, Paste & Get Curious
Ever been curious about making a zine? Come cut, paste, get weird, and get curious with us.
This isn't our usual zine workshop — it's a special one-off! War Streets Art Salon is teaming up with Pittsburgh’s Public Source and the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh for a community zine social connected to a bigger project exploring the people, places, and stories that make up Pittsburgh.
Local zine maker Dana Mendieta (Everything in Neon) will guide a relaxed night of collage, conversation, and creating — no rules, no experience needed. Make it funny, poetic, nostalgic, political, or totally strange. Show up with an idea, or just your curiosity.
Finish with a handmade zine you can submit to the citywide project — or just keep for the joy of making it. Totally your call. More info about the open call HERE.
✨ Special subsidized pricing — because we're partnering on this project, we're able to make it extra accessible for our community.
We'll supply paper, collage materials, magazines, scissors, glue, markers, stickers, and other fun bits. Bring old photos or personal ephemera if you'd like to add your own flair.
Curious about the bigger project or how to submit? Check the open call link below!
📍 Second floor, walk-up stairs only — no elevator access.
