This is our casual, adult (18+) pick-up play. All skill levels are welcome to play. There are no designated teams, we just split up every week by dividing sticks. This is a fun and social setting, if you are looking for a more competitive environment, join the League.

Price
Tickets are purchased on a per game basis for $8.00. There are no goalies.
*Do not show up unannounced or without paying. There are limited spots.*
Waitlist
Each week we will open up 5 additional spots to those on the sublist on Monday at 7pm, except for the first week of each session.
USAFH or WFHA Membership
You need to be a member of USAFH or WFHA for insurance reasons. WFHA memberships are $10.99, and cover all WFHA events. You can sign up for WFHA membership here, or purchase one at check out. USAFH Memberships are also accepted by WFHA. USAFH memberships cost $30, and are required for USAFH events such as NITs and other national events, you can purchase one here.
Sportsmanship Clause
To create an enjoyable experience for all players, we have added a sportsmanship clause with repercussions for failure to comply. You will see and agree to the sportsmanship clause as you check out. If you are unable to comply with the sportsmanship clause, this will impact your ability to play with WFHA in the future.
Weather Policy
Sessions may be cancelled no later than an hour before the start time due to inclement weather.
Refund Policy
Tickets are purchased a la carte and there are no refunds, including for weather cancellations (unfortunately we are not refunded by the venue.)
Age
Washington Field Hockey Association is an adult field hockey league dedicated to expanding the sport of field hockey in the Washington, DC metro area. We require that all players be at least 18 years old. The age requirement was made keeping in mind safety as a number one priority, and also noting the increase in opportunities especially for male youth players.
