WIF ANNUAL DINNER 2023

Join us for the Water Industry Forum Annual Dinner in Leeds on 08 March 2023, with special guest speaker James Heath, CEO of the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC). The dinner will be a great opportunity to meet with our directors and colleagues from across the UK water sector and to hear from our keynote speaker.

James Heath, CEO, National Infrastructure Commission
The NIC advises the UK Government on long-term strategy and policy for economic infrastructure, covering digital, transport, energy, water and wastewater, waste and flood risk management. Previously, James was Director, Digital Infrastructure at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), responsible for advising Ministers on broadband, mobile and telecoms security policy, and overseeing the UK’s £200m million 5G Testbeds and Trials Programme.

Prior to joining the UK Government, James was Director, Policy at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), responsible for public policy, government relations and regulation.

The dinner will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, a contemporary 4* hotel set on the waterfront at Granary Wharf, on the Leeds to Liverpool canal. Located in the heart of the vibrant city of Leeds, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Leeds rail station and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

* Cost includes glass of Prosecco on arrival, 3-course dinner and half bottle of wine per person.

We will accept payment by BACS under special circumstances. Please contact us to request a VAT invoice and booking code only if you are unable to process payment via the online system.

The event fee is non-refundable for cancellations made within 4 weeks of the date of the event. Places may be substituted at any time before the event, please let us know in advance if you cannot make it and need to change your reservation by emailing events@waterindustryforum.com.
