🇯🇵🇭🇰 Celebrate the beauty of summer through Japanese calligraphy, traditional culture, authentic Hong Kong cuisine, and meaningful cultural exchange.
Learn Japanese calligraphy and draw Uchiwa (Japanese hand fan) and Tsuyukusa (dayflower), while enjoying a special course and drink provided by Made in Hong Kong in this summer. 🪭
Experience the beauty of Japanese calligraphy through a seasonal workshop inspired by Uchiwa and Tsuyukusa — Japanese hand fan and dayflower, two iconic symbols of Japanese summer. Uchiwa is famous for the summer festival in Japan and Tsuyukusa is a delicate blue wildflower that can only be found in Japan. Together, they represent coolness, tranquillity and the appreciation of nature during Japan's hottest season.
In this special workshop, you'll discover the cultural meaning behind Uchiwa and Tsuyukusa while creating your own Japanese hand fan and dayflower themed Japanese calligraphy artwork using traditional brushes and ink.
After your calligraphy workshop, continue your cultural journey with a delicious complimentary meal, kindly prepared by Made in Hong Kong.
