2022 Online Conference – February 17-19, 2022

Our 2022 West Coast Christian Writers Conference will be held online again this year. This exciting event is filled with incredible keynote addresses, workshops, mentoring CREWs, community events, and more. As always, our faculty includes some of the premier agents, editors, marketing and business experts, and authors from the Christian publishing industry. We’re thrilled to have distinguished author and agent Sharon Norris Elliott as our keynote speaker!

REGISTRATION RATE for the Online Conference: $179

Your registration pass includes admission to all keynote addresses and workshops, access to our private WCCW Conference Facebook group, a free 15-minute coaching session, the opportunity to participate in a small-group Round Table, and entry into the writing contest. Add-ons: pre-conference CREW mentoring groups and agent/editor appointments are available for an additional charge (see below).

Would you like a full day with a faculty member diving deep into one topic? If so, please join a CREW (Connection, Refinement, Equipping & Wisdom).

On February 17, 2022, an optional pre-conference day, these small groups will meet all day with a faculty member for intensive, interactive instruction in a specific topic.

The opportunity to connect with agents is an important part of our WCCW Conference. Our faculty includes some of the top editors and literary agents in the industry. You will have the opportunity to make a fifteen-minute individual appointment with an editor or agent (conducted virtually). IMPORTANT: Be sure to research what agents and editors are looking for (this info is listed on WCCW's website).

Add-on: COACHING & CRITIQUE (Free)

Would you like feedback on your writing from a published author? Your registration pass includes one free individual coaching and critique appointment! These are optional, but we hope you take advantage of this opportunity. When you register, you’ll be asked to select the faculty member you’d like to meet with.

If you choose to participate, you will submit a 1000-word writing sample, which must be received by January 31, 2022. A faculty member will meet with you virtually for 15 minutes to give you feedback and discuss next steps for you and your writing.

How would you like to meet with an editor, agent, or published author in a no-pressure environment? Round Tables are a unique perk to WCCW. You can meet in a small group (max 8 people) with an industry professional to ask questions or brainstorm. During registration, select the faculty member you’d like to meet with. Round Tables will be held live on Zoom on February 18 or 19.

Note: Wendy Lawton and Janet Grant will be holding additional Round Tables. If you would like to participate in this extra opportunity, you may sign up for a primary Round Table as well as one of Janet or Wendy's extra Round Tables (two total). These extra Round Table slots are first come, first served.

EXTENDED ACCESS

 All keynotes, general sessions, and workshops will be available as pre-recorded videos for six weeks (until April 3, 2022).

REFUNDS

Registrations are fully refundable up to thirty (30) days prior to the conference (Monday January 18, 2022). Refund requests inside thirty days to the conference will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
