Learn the WEDway: Master the Art of Painting from Disney & Lorcana Artist James Mulligan

Learn the WEDway is an event series hosted by WDWNT and led by former Disney Imagineers and Artists. The events are masterclasses designed to give attendees deep, focused insight into a specific skill or subject within themed entertainment. Guests will enjoy a hands-on approach and skill development from Imagineers who will share practical insights, personal methodology, and lessons that exceed common knowledge.

Walt Disney Artist: James Mulligan

Past Projects: While working in the art department of the Walt Disney Company, James' projects include concept design for both characters and theme park shows and attractions, and has more recently created art for the Lorcana trading card game.

Details: As traditional fine art and illustration artist, James will lead the immersive session that explores essential painting techniques, such as color theory, composition, brushwork, and texture, while also encouraging you to develop your own creative voice with confidence and intention. Event guests will be working on pre-printed stretched canvas and applying the skills shared in class to complete a beautiful art piece to take home.
