Details:
Jerry Schneider is a visual arts professional with more than 45 years of experience in photography and digital imaging. During his 18 years with Walt Disney Imagineering, he worked on a wide range of projects that helped shape his expertise in both traditional and digital photography. His career also includes work with The J. Paul Getty Museum and Eastman Kodak, along with nine years teaching Photoshop at the high school and adult education levels.
Drawing from career at WDI, Jerry will share how Imagineers document, evaluate, and capture nearly every aspect of the creative process—from attraction development and design reviews to understanding how guests interact with and experience the parks. Through real-world examples and behind-the-scenes insights, participants will learn the principles that help create images that don't just document a moment, but communicate story, emotion, and the unmistakable feeling of Disney. This session focuses on the artistic and storytelling approaches used within Imagineering, offering a perspective rarely available outside the company.
