Weardale Railway is an 18 mile heritage railway currently operating between Bishop Auckland to Stanhope.

Intermediate stations are located at Witton-le-Wear, Wolsingham Kingfisher, Frosterley, & Stanhope.

The railway offers seasonal travel and events e.g. Easter, Halloween & Christmas and offer a range of food, beverage and special interest related events on board such as Afternoon Tea, Gin & Cheese, Photography & Driver Experience Days and our largest December Event : The Santa Express
