What if one moment changed everything? In this 8‑week online improv course, you’ll explore a Sliding Doors style narrative where a single choice splits reality in two and each timeline unfolds in surprising, playful and dramatically different ways. One protagonist makes a pivotal decision and from that moment on, the story branches. Each version of that character is played by a different improviser, giving the ensemble a chance to explore contrasting emotional journeys, behaviours and outcomes.

Across the course, you’ll learn how to build parallel narratives that stay connected yet distinct, how to heighten each timeline without losing clarity and how to weave between story threads with confidence and momentum.

If you love narrative improv, bold character exploration and the thrill of watching two realities unfold side by side, this course gives you the structure and the playground to dive in.

As a dedicated improviser, she founded We Are Improv in Lancaster, UK in 2011, a company that went on to perform at renowned festivals including Improv Fest Ireland, ImproFest UK, and the Bristol Improv Festival. After having her 2 children Katy switched her focus from performing to teaching, creating a supportive and encouraging online community.

Katy has trained extensively with leading figures in the improv community, including Pgraph (The Hideout Theatre, Austin, Texas), Jason Chin (iO, Chicago), Rich and Rebecca Sohn (Annoyance Theatre, Chicago), The Maydays (Brighton, London), David Razowsky and Keith Johnstone.
