RiverFest - Charity Family Fun Day

Riverfest 2025 is a family fun day with the aim of connecting the people of Bishop Auckland to nature and their local river.

It will be a festival style event with live music from JD and the Woodsman, as well as a wide range of vendors promoting awareness of climate change and local environmental issues. There will also be crafts on offer as well as face painting, an ice cream van and team games with Steve from Starboy Fitness & Massage. 

There will be a range of community engagement workshops on a programme throughout the day.

Food and drink will be available to buy from the rugby club bar. Feel free to bring a deck chair along!

Free parking is available at the rugby club.

We have set up a  pay as you feel donation to our charity for your ticket. These funds will be used to improve river habitats in your area. Please reserve one ticket per individual. (not one per family). A suggested amount is £3 per adult (children free).
