Designed by George Gilbert Scott, the architect behind London's St Pancras, this grand hall has lived many lives — from a training centre for missionary monks to the historic estate we see today, set on the banks of the River Trent within 42 acres of landscaped parkland.

At its heart is the extraordinary Great Hall, crowned by a dramatic "flying arch" and the second-largest concrete dome in England — a truly unique backdrop found nowhere else. Say your vows in one of five licensed rooms, out in the open air overlooking the riverside meadow, or in the beautiful 12th-century St. Wilfrid's church within the grounds.
