People's Pavilion: Design Workshop

Design enthusiasts of all levels of experience are invited to come together to design a roof for the People's Pavilion

This Design Workshop has been created by Good Shepherd Studio members Jennifer Cogley and Harry Wells of Cogley Wells Studio with assistance from Naomi Rubbra of Footwork in celebration of the volunteers involved in bringing the Pavilion to its new home at Good Shepherd Studios.

10.30: The Brief - An introduction to the people and the Pavilion

11.00: The Workshop - Design ideas will be explored and shared with support from qualified architects and designers

13.30: The Review - A look at next steps followed by the chance to chat

14.00: Close - Attendees are welcome to continue their conversations in the café

FAQs

Can I attend if I haven't been involved with the People's Pavilion before? Yes, this workshop is open to anyone with an interest in design, outdoor spaces and/or community.

I am a student, can I attend? Absolutely! This workshop will include the opportunity to put your creativity to work and speak with qualified architects and other designers about career progression.

I am an adult, can I attend? Again, absolutely! From design novice to retired architect. This workshop is for you.

Will refreshments be provided? Drinks and snacks will be provided during breaks. If you would like something more substantial, the onsite café serves a selection of sour dough toasties.

Is the venue (including the toilets) accessible? There is step free access to the venue and the toilets. If you require any assistance, please feel free to make a member of staff aware.
