Welcome Merchant is a social enterprise that provides a free online directory and digital marketing support to entrepreneurs  who identify as a refugee and as a person seeking asylum. We're donating a portion of the ticket sales to Mahboba's Promise, an Afghan-founded charity based in Sydney. It was founded by Mahboba Rawi, an Afghan refugee and now an Australian citizen, who has experienced first-hand the effects of a country torn apart by years of war and civil unrest. Since 1998, Mahboba’s Promise has established schools, shelters and health clinics across Afghanistan and provided numerous sponsorships to widows and orphans in need.

There'll also be a Raffle Draw with amazing prizes, like a homecooked dinner for 2, up for grabs, a beautiful clutch made by Afghan-Australian designer, Sakena the Label, a $150 chocolate hamper from Adora Handmade Chocolates, wines from Mike Bennie at P & V Wines & more!

You can book a table for 10, 8, 6, 5, or 4, or book for 2 people and join other groups. Bookings close on Wednesday 8th March at 5pm AEST.

The ticket includes a delicious Afghan buffet dinner too. There will be vegetarian options, but please note we cannot cater to all diets. We will be selling beers & wines on the night. Here's the buffet menu:
