Launching these new adult swimming lessons feels like a really important step forward for me personally and a natural continuation of the journey that began through my work with Bluetonic. Over the years, I’ve met so many adults who either never had the opportunity to learn to swim, lost their confidence in the water, or simply wanted to improve their skills but didn’t know where to start. It’s clear just how big a barrier that can be to their health, safety, and overall wellbeing.

That’s why I’ve been passionate about helping create opportunities that are open and accessible to everyone — from complete beginners taking their very first strokes, through to more confident and advanced swimmers looking to develop technique, fitness, or simply enjoy the water more. The lessons, delivered by Seals Swim Academy, provide a safe, welcoming, and judgement-free environment where people can learn at their own pace and feel supported every step of the way.

For many adults, walking onto poolside can feel intimidating, so building confidence is just as important as building skill. Seeing people overcome fears, grow in self-belief, and achieve things they once thought weren’t possible is exactly what continues to motivate me.

I’m especially excited that these lessons can open the door to new opportunities, including the potential to progress into outdoor and open water swimming for those who want to take their journey further. Swimming is a life skill that everyone deserves access to, and it’s never too late to start.
