Your pilates instructor...

Clare is a professional dancer and musical theatre performer who started dancing at the age of four. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her classes following a successful career in the West End and beyond. She starred in shows ‘42nd Street’ at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, ‘White Christmas’ at the Dominion Theatre, ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris and ‘Guys and Dolls’ at the Théâtre Marigny, Paris. She also appeared in shows such as ‘Wicked’, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘Gypsy’, and ‘Shrek the Musical’ in the West end and many more show nationally.

This lifetime of dancing and performance in the theatre instilled a strong dedication to maintaininga healthy body and mind, an essential part of thriving in this intense industry. She found Pilates to be a perfect complement to her dance training and soon trained as a teacher with ‘Body Control Pilates’ in London. With the arrival of her two children, now 1 and 4, Clare, more than ever realised the importance of movement in childbirth recovery. Clare loves teaching Pilates and seeing people give their bodies and minds some care and attention!

Alongside teaching Pilates, Clare teaches dance classes for children and adults, both privately and in groups - including musical theatre workshops, high energy dance classes and adult tap. A keen fitness enthusiast, she enjoys taking part in a weekly parkrun. Clare is very excited to be teaming up with WeM for a morning of Pilates and chats.
