Hanami Celebration at West 16th
Join us for a night of Hanami-inspired delights as we celebrate the beauty of this Japanese tradition at @west_16th on Saturday, 23 March 2024.
Hanami, which literally translates to "flower watching," is an annual celebration of cherry blossoms and springtime. In modern-day Japan, hanami mostly consists of having a party beneath the cherry blossoms with good food, drinks, and company, and we're excited to bring our own version to you.
Experience the essence of Hanami with an Ikebana Workshop, where you'll learn the art of Japanese flower arrangement and create your own masterpiece to take home. Led by Tara of @inbloom_wellbeing
Tara Khan is a teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana. Raising awareness of this revered and centuries-old Japanese art form to all those interested in enhancing their artistic self-expression and connection to the beauty of nature in a deeply relaxing and tranquil environment.
