During this interactive sensory workshop for little ones between the ages of 4 and 6, and their carers, attendees will sample essential oils with a focus on calming, relaxing, and mood lifting smells, then choose their favourites to make a heavenly smelling bubble base. Bubbles are a fun tool to encourage children to ‘pause’, focus and play, whilst the therapeutic effects of the scents will leave them uplifted. A particularly practical use for bubbles, is to provide a visual stimulus for children to send any worries "away" and watch them pop. They can be used individually or put into a bubble machine and are great for parties, play time, and daydreaming.

Tanya Moulding, the @perfumemistress is a practising clinical aromatherapist, aromacologist, botanical perfumer and educator. She has taught historical perfumery at many English Heritage sites and local museums, and delivers public and corporate sensory engagement events on olfaction and botanical blending.
