Renee DiResta, author of 'Invisible Rulers: the people who turn lies into reality', is joining us online from the USA to share her invaluable insights into the challenge that faces democracies right across the world.  Renee has written about has written about conspiracy theories, pseudoscience and she has also served as an advisor to the US Congress on ongoing efforts to prevent online and social media disinformation. You don't have to have read or listened to  her book, but it helps. The event is for anyone (and that should be EVERYONE!) concerned about the direction of travel in social and mainstream media.
