Innovation in Restoration: positive approaches for changing times

This is the third conference in a series presented by the multi award-winning Cumbria Rivers Restoration Programme.

Hosted at the iconic Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground, this interactive symposium brings together practitioners, partners and decision-makers from across the sector. The programme blends keynote presentations and industry insight with hands-on, practical learning, creating a balanced format of plenary sessions and smaller breakout workshops.

Attendees will hear from pioneering projects that demonstrate exceptional creativity and innovation in delivering river restoration at scale, sharing real-world experience and transferable learning from the field.

The afternoon workshop sessions will provide a collaborative space to explore the key challenges facing river restoration today, within a rapidly changing environmental, social and political context. Together, participants will discuss practical solutions and help shape positive, forward-looking approaches to overcoming these challenges.
