Course Details
Running in one of the West Dean College Workshops alongside the ROSA Botanical Art Fair. A botanical-themed textile collage taster session introducing students to layered fabric techniques, hand-stitching, and mixed-media approaches inspired by spring flora. Students will create a small textile panel to take home.

For those interested in developing their practice further, this taster provides an introduction to Anne's range of short courses at West Dean College.

No previous experience is required.

Materials and Equipment
All necessary materials and equipment will be provided for use on the course.

About the Tutor
Anne is a textile artist, author and tutor based in Kent. She trained in Canada and at Goldsmiths College. She is the author of three books for Batsford Press and exhibits and tutors throughout the UK and internationally. She is a member of the Crafts Council Directory and the Society for Embroidered Work.

General Information
Short courses are open to anyone aged 18 and over. Short course Vouchers are not useable against Taster sessions. Please enter through the West Dean Gardens entrance and sign in at the Gardens Gatehouse. 

Creative taster sessions are exclusive to ROSA Botanical Art Fair ticket holders. You must have a valid admission ticket to the Fair for the day of your tour. Tour tickets are an additional cost and must be booked separately.

Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the start of the taster, cancellations within 7 days of the tour are non refundable. You have the right to cancel within the statutory 14 day cooling off period If you have any questions or queries please contact us at meetings@westdean.ac.uk. 

We reserve the right to cancel a class in unusual circumstances. We try to avoid this where possible, but sometimes it is unavoidable. In this situation, a full refund will be given. We’re sorry that we cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions, travel disruption or any other situations that are outside our control.
