Celebrate the festive season with a truly memorable Christmas experience at West Dean.

Your visit begins with a welcome drink in the Marble Hall, where the warmth of the season meets the elegance of this historic setting. You’ll then be invited to take your place in the historic oak hall for a delicious three-course Christmas meal, crafted with fresh, seasonal produce from the West Dean gardens.

Our Christmas dining experience is based on shared, mixed tables, giving you the opportunity to meet and enjoy the occasion with fellow guests in a warm and sociable festive atmosphere. Whether joining us for a Christmas lunch or an evening Christmas meal, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season, enjoy great food and make new festive memories at West Dean.

If you have any specific access needs, we will need to know about your access or dietary requirements in advance. Please tell us about your needs in confidence by emailing: christmas@westdean.ac.uk

This venue has steps to the front reception, with limited access via a side gate to the ground floor. There is a small lift to higher floors or stairs.

Entry is through the main college entrance; the car park can be found at the bottom of the drive on the left-hand side. Make your way to the front entrance of the college where a member of staff will check your ticket. Please do not use the gardens car park.

Cancellations:

Cancellations are permitted up to 14 days before the start of an event, cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable. You have the right to cancel within the statutory 14 day cooling off period. If you have any questions or queries, please contact us at meetings@westdean.ac.uk.

We reserve the right to cancel the event in unusual circumstances. We try to avoid this where possible, but sometimes it is unavoidable. In this situation, a full refund will be given. We’re sorry that we cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions, travel disruption or any other situations that are outside our control.
