Course Details
A focused introduction to spindle turning, giving beginners the essential skills to safely turn, finish and assemble two single-timber Christmas ornaments.
Suitable for complete beginners with no previous woodturning experience who would like a focused, accessible introduction to spindle turning through a practical finished project. 

The session will take place in the workshop in West Dean College.

Materials and Equipment
All necessary materials and equipment will be provided for use on the course.

General Information
Sessions are open to anyone aged 18 and over. Short course Vouchers are not useable against events. Please enter through the West Dean Gardens entrance and show your tickets at the Gardens Gatehouse. 

Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellations are permitted up to 7 days before the start of the event, cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable. You have the right to cancel within the statutory 14 day cooling off period. If you have any questions or queries, please contact us at meetings@westdean.ac.uk. 

We reserve the right to cancel a class in unusual circumstances. We try to avoid this where possible, but sometimes it is unavoidable. In this situation, a full refund will be given. We’re sorry that we cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions, travel disruption or any other situations that are outside our control.
