We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our very popular visit from Father Christmas at the West Lancashire Light Railway. Santa trains will operate over five days, on the 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st of December, with the first train departing at 10:30 am. Trains depart every 45 minutes until 4.30 pm. 

Your Ticket includes a 25-minute heritage steam train return journey to see Father Christmas, his Elves and Santa's Christmas Magic Show. All Children receive a quality gift from Father Christmas and a Christmas goody bag. Adults receive Free mince pies and Christmas mulled wine or Christmas fruit punch (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) or a Hot Drink. 

You can book either a compartment (£90) that typically seats 4 Adults and 4 Children, ideal for families and friends to all sit together, or you can purchase individual Adult (£10)  and Child (£15) tickets, possibly sharing your compartment with other families. Please note that compartments 4 and 5, and 8 and 9 are in separate carriages. 

Compartment 9 is fully accessible and wheelchair friendly. This compartment is fully accessible and wheelchair-friendly, with Santa and his helpers entering to visit you. It has a restricted view of some activities on the Toyland platform, for this compartment access is allowed onto the platform. However,  this access is not suitable for limited mobility/wheelchair passengers. 

Hot Food and drinks are available for sale from our Fireman's shovel railway wagon at Becconsall Station.  

You should consider this an outdoor event; please wear appropriate clothing for the weather on the day.

Please arrive on time, allowing for your journey time and car parking. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate you and your party if you miss your booked train departure.

All child tickets need at least one adult ticket in the same compartment as your child group for safety reasons. If no adult tickets are displayed, then no adult tickets are available in that compartment.

We recommend booking early; Tickets are limited and liable to sell out quickly.
