Bagnall Bank Holiday Weekend Joint Event
A Bagnall locomotive Weekend at the Amerton Railway, Apedale Valley Light railway and West Lancashire Light Railway. An opportunity to see three historic Bagnall 7", 0-4-0ST locomotives built from 1897 to 1924, in service over three days.
A joint all day ticket, valid for travel at all three railways during the 23rd -25th May Bank Holiday weekend. Priced at a discounted rate of £10 for adults and £3 for children. Online tickets should be surrended at the first railway ticket office to exchange for an Event ticket to be shown at each railway.
During the weekend the Apedale Valley Light Railway will operate their 1924-built Bagnall “WOTO”. “Sybil”, built in 1906, will be operating at the West Lancashire Light Railway’s in Hesketh Bank. Finally, the oldest of them all – “Isabel”, dating back to 1897 – will be running at Amerton.
The ticket allows for unlimited travel on the day of travel at each Railway. The Ticket holder is responsible for their own travel between each venue. Please drive responsibly. Public Transport and further details from each venue railway can be found on each of the railways websites.
