The 8-week course runs Mondays, 7.00-9.30pm, 14th October-2nd December and is held at the West London Buddhist Centre. The weekend retreat runs 1-3 November at Vajrasana Retreat Centre, Suffolk.
The point of life is to live – to live as fully, richly, and meaningfully as possible.
The point is to really do something with your life, instead of merely scrolling through Instagram, binge-watching Netflix or rehearsing arguments in your head. Most people simply don’t realise how much potential they have, how large their life could be. The Buddhist practice of mindfulness is to do with becoming more alive and less toxic, more whole and less fragmented.
This 8-week course is an ideal way to learn mindfulness. The course uses as its base Maitreyabandhu’s book Life with Full Attention (included in the course) and is accompanied by the Life with Full Attention App.
Course is led by four experienced Buddhist mindfulness practitioners: Amalavajra, Amlanadhi, Maitrikumara and Samantavajra
Retreat is led by Amalavajra , Jayasuri and team.
