For those who are familiar with Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana practices.

If you have learnt the basic meditation practices and would like to develop a weekly or daily practice then come and join our weekday morning online meditation practice.

Regular meditation practice helps to support a personal discipline as well as helping you to stay in touch with the feeling of being part of the Sangha, the fellowship of practitioners.

The silent, unled meditation sessions will be hosted by Order Members or Mitras from the West London Buddhist Centre community.

We start promptly at 7.00am with a warm welcome and preparation for meditation, those that wish to will chant the reverencing of the three jewels in unison, the host then reads a poem or relevant piece. Bells are rung to start the practice and then at intervals to mark the stages.

We generally alternate between the practice of Loving Kindness (Metta Bhavana, Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and the Mindfulness of Breathing (Tuesday and Thursday).

Occasionally, if we have several new members, we may introduce a little more support.

We finish around 7.50, those that wish to may chant the transference of merit and we say our goodbyes.

Booking is not required but you can sign up using the link below if you wish.

You can stay for the whole period or just join in for as long as you wish.
