Gretchen Peters Autumn Songwriting Intensive

Join us for our six-week songwriting Intensive with internationally acclaimed songwriter Gretchen Peters.

This small-group experience is designed for songwriters who want to go deeper into their craft, write new work, and receive thoughtful feedback in a focused and supportive environment.

Across the programme, Gretchen will lead two in-depth masterclasses exploring the art and craft of songwriting, followed by two group feedback sessions where participants will have the opportunity to share a new song and receive personalised feedback from Gretchen.

Because the group is intentionally small, there is space for meaningful discussion, detailed feedback, and creative exchange.

Schedule

The programme runs across six Sunday evenings, UK time, all included in the event price listed. You will be contacted via email prior to each Session and provided with the relevant Zoom links and other information.

Session 1 – Welcome & Listening Party: 4th October, 7pm BST
Session 2 – Masterclass with Gretchen Peters: 11th October, 7pm BST (2 hours)
Session 3 – Masterclass with Gretchen Peters: 18th October, 7pm BST (2 hours)
Session 4 – Feedback Session with Gretchen Peters: 25th October, 7pm GMT (2 hours)
Session 5 – Feedback Session with Gretchen Peters: 1st November, 7pm GMT (2 hours)
Session 6 – Virtual Open Mic & After Party: 8th November, 7pm GMT

Please note: the UK clocks go back on 25th October. Sessions 1–3 take place on British Summer Time; sessions 4–6 are on Greenwich Mean Time. If you are joining from outside the UK, please check your local time carefully from session 4 onwards.

Feedback Sessions

Across the two feedback sessions, each participant will have the opportunity to have one of their songs workshopped by Gretchen — a dedicated 20 minutes per person. She'll listen and respond live, offering personalised feedback drawn from decades of experience as a professional songwriter.

The whole group is in the room for every slot, so you're not just getting feedback on your own song — you're inside the process for everyone else's too. It's one of the most valuable parts of the experience.

Group Size

This intensive is intentionally limited to 12 participants to allow time for meaningful interaction and detailed feedback.

Session Recordings

All sessions will be recorded. Replays will be available to participants for one month after the intensive finishes, hosted in a dedicated space within our community on Mighty Networks.
