In the process of buying your ticket, you will be asked to complete a 'fitness to participate' questionnaire. Here is a little bit of information about the walk to help you to self-assess your ability to participate taking into account the difficulty of the walk and potential hazards:

Distance: 9 miles, total ascent: 200 meters
There is a steep climb along the road and an enclosed bridle path right at the beginning to the top of Whalley Nab. There will be wet paths through fields and woods, stiles and several road crossings with fast traffic. There will also be a lot of flat, hard ground in the latter half of the walk.

Based on the questionnaire, the organiser of the event will need to finally decide whether it is possible for you to join the walk. If not, you will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund. Refunds will not be possible if it becomes evident on the day that the information you provided about your ability was insufficient and you cannot participate.
