Shine - Friday 22 July, 2022
Opportunity for creative reflection through simple, circular weaving and/or hand stitch, prayerfully considering the season and reflecting how we can enable our faith to shine, despite the difficulties of daily living.
Participants will be supported to engage in the weaving and stitching, exploring colourful textiles, textures & threads. We will create prayerful responses to the slow work of God in our lives.
His Banner Over Me is Love - Saturday 17 September, 2022
Opportunity for creative reflection through the creation of a simple, stitched banner, prayerfully considering the imagery of banners in Scripture and how this might apply to our own faith, today
Participants will be supported to engage in prayerful, slow stitch to create their own small, individual banner.
In the Light of Advent - Saturday 26 November, 2022
Opportunity to consider how we might act in the light of Advent, using Scripture, poetry and led reflections. There will be plenty of silence, space and a range of art and craft materials available for you to engage creatively and reflect prayerfully.
The Gift of Epiphany - Friday, 6 January, 2023
Opportunity to unwrap the story of the Magi as they travel towards the Christ-child, using the pattern of their journey to inspire our own as we enter this New Year. There will be three led reflections, prompting prayerful exploration of what God might be saying to you through creative journalling techniques in paint, print and collage.
