New Year's Eve Ceilidh with Charles & Anna and caller Kayleigh Topliss

Whitchurch Folk Club will hold our annual New Year's Eve Ceilidh at the Whitchurch Parish Hall. Kicking off from 8pm (doors, 7:30pm), this family-friendly event will run until the final dance just after midnight, with live music and dancing throughout most of the evening. We'll have a well-stocked bar, and adults will receive a glass of bubbly at midnight included in the price. 

The ceilidh music will be provided by local musicians Charles Allison on melodeon and guitar & Anna Mullens on violin. You probably already know Charles & Anna from their key roles in local Morris side Mayfly Morris, or you may have seen them opening for Emily Portman and Friends in October 2026. Charles and Anna are both experienced performers across a range of genres and will provide a wealth of lively tunes for you to dance to.

Kayleigh Topliss has called several of our ceilidhs now - she is a fun and inclusive caller, whatever your level of dancing experience. 

Tickets to this event are limited and available in two offerings:

£21 adult ticket with glass of bubbly at midnight
£10.50 child ticket (17 years old and under)

Doors will open from 7:30pm. Music and dancing from 8pm.
