Summer Workshop: Try The Art of Batik

Tue 11 Aug 2026 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Take a creative pause, try something new and create your own batik art print to take home  - or brighten up the office!

Try It Tuesdays: In this mindful summer workshop, give the art of Batik a go - it's an ancient art form that uses wax-resist dyeing to create intricate patterns on fabric.

Our guest artist, Jen, will show you how to apply warm wax to fabric in a your own design and apply dye over the top. The unwaxed areas will take on beautiful colour, while the waxed sections resist the dye, creating beautiful, detailed designs.

Try something new while chatting to some lovely people from other offices!

Short on time?  Feel free to bring your lunch!
