Description

Applied Pharmacology-traditional and modern interpretations of Chinese herbal medicine

led by Drs Chris Etheridge & Andrew Flower

Date: Sun 18 April

Online zoom lecture 9.30am - 5pm

Applied pharmacology will be an exciting and interesting juxtaposition of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern Pharmacology. Andrew Flower will be presenting a series of cases (involving autoimmunity, cancer support, recurrent urinary tract infections and Long Covid) and describing the TCM rationale underpinning the treatment. Chris Etheridge will analyse each of these cases from the perspective of modern phytochemistry and pharmacology and describe the modern rationale for these prescriptions. This is a great opportunity to explore the way in which these two traditions can mutually inform each other and can enhance clinical practice.

Price: £95.00 (Student £50)

Cannot attend real-time? Don't worry. The seminar will be recorded and the link to the recording will be available after the event if you register.
