White Noise 53 at st John's Bethnal Green

We're back at the church for the 4th time now, you know the drill and it's gonna be a sonic playground like never before!

For this edition of White Noise we come together as a community in St John’s on Bethnal Green Church to collaborate and create multi-speaker experience for our audience. Our participants choose their own place in the church and listen carefully to reflect their sonic or visual contribution to the space. The idea is not to compose music together but to use sound as tool to reflect our feelings and tell stories to the audience creating a audio visual narrative that can be explored by our visitors.

The format is BYOS - Bring Your Own Speaker so if you work with amplified sound, you’ll need to bring your own speaker. We’d love some acoustic sound too as this can work really well in the sonic environment of the church.

People that work with light and projections will need to bring in their own equipment as well, BYOB style.
