In this session The Education and Engagement team will explore some key issues and themes that have been identified by the Care Experienced community with regards to finance. This session will help you better understand some of the potential barriers people with care experience face in achieving financial security and independence to inspire you on your journey as a supportive Corporate Parent.

The Education & Engagement Team are funded by Scottish Government to provide support and learning sessions to Corporate Parents. Therefore this event if free for anyone working for one of the 26 Corporate Parents named in legislation. If you do not work for a named Corporate Parent but work in a sector that is closely connected to caring for and supporting people with care experience, you are still more than welcome to attend this event. We just ask that you select the 'non Corporate Parent organisation' option to pay the small fee of £10 to help support the work that we do and to help us achieve our vision for: A lifetime of equality, respect and love for Care Experienced people.
