What do the people who have been through Restorative Justice want us to know? Why do people share their stories and how can we empower them to do it well?

In this Why me? forum we will explore how the testimony of people who have been through Restorative Justice is a crucial part of raising awareness, reducing barriers and widening access to Restorative Justice. We will be joined by people who have been through the process and now share their stories publicly to understand why they choose to raise awareness in this way and what challenges and opportunities they see in this role. You will have a chance to ask questions and to hear about the archive of 22 in-depth interviews that Why me? are making public through our Damage and Repair project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
